Youth Enrichment Program (YEP)

Started in 2007 as a result of meetings and deliberations in the Community Organizing Program we are currently providing services to 24 individuals. This program provides a comprehensive education, career development and leadership development solution to African youth and young adults. Qualifications include:

  • Age 16 – 24 years

  • Interested in obtaining a GED.

  • Interested in Job Training Program

  • Interested in Post Secondary Education

YEP provides youth and young adults with services that include intensive case management, GED referral and preparation, job skill training (nursing assistant), life skill and leadership development training, computer training and job and/or college placement.

 

7/23/2008: Made possible by a grant from Bush Foundation and Otto Bremer Foundation, we have opened up 50 more slots in our Youth Enrichment Program. We will continue to accept applications on an ongoing basis. To apply download, complete and mail the application to African Assistance Program
