Giving to African Assistance Program

New immigrants and refugee families have skills that they have  from their home country and need to translate into the new  community. Yet some of these new community members simply do not have the skills necessary to get and keep a job in the USA labor market. Some are youth and adults with low math and reading skills and little education. Many new immigrants/refugees have not had the opportunity to pursue education or skill training.

At African Assistance Program it is our honor to do this work worth doing. We invite you to work with us. Volunteer. Spread the word. Give.

  • $75 will buy a 1-month bus card for a refugee attend GED, job training or go to work
